Newly issued phone cards usually offer more minutes to target countries. These "promotional minutes" are the minutes advertised on the point of sale poster. The major phone card companies put more minutes on their newly issued phone cards and put a date on the bottom of the poster when the promotional offer expires. As long as sales is increasing, they will usually keep delivering more minutes. Once the new phone card is doing well in the market and sales start to
stabilize, they often begin to reduce the delivered minutes. Phone Card Hotline does not endorse practice,
however retail stores and distributors have an opportunity to sell more phone cards if they carry the newest phone cards
because often they do usually deliver more minutes. Here is a chart comparing new phone cards for selected countries.
