New Phone Cards
12/13/04 - Phone Card Hotline has added several new phone cards issued by Radiant and NEC.   Radiant tells me that they "guarantee" that anyone who buys these cards will reorder within one week.  Radiant claims these are the "cleanest" phone cards they have ever issued.  This means the card should give very close to the minutes on the poster.

 The new phone cards are all offer both local access numbers as well as nationwide 800 number access.  Customers who use the local access numbers will get more minutes because of the lower cost of origination a call using a local access number.

The new Radiant calling cards are:

Loco Minutos OTC Phone Card - Good for the Middle East, and all of Mexico.  Features 190 minutes on $5 to Costa Rica, 100 minutes on $5 to, Cuenca Ecuador, 75 minutes on $5 to Kuwait, 36 minutes on $5 to Sierra Leone
 
City Limits OTC Phone Card - Excellent for Brazil (137 on $5), Dominican Republic (118 on $5), Colombia cellular (50 minutes on $5), Nigeria (87 minutes on $5), Jamaica 89 minutes on $5)

What's Up OTC Phone Card - good for Bangladesh, USA, Central America, Puerto Rico,  Africa.  Also available as a $2 phone card.

NEC Touch Phone Card - Good phone card for Ukraine, Phillippines, domincan Republic, Romania, France, Germany.  Available local access and nationwide 800 access.

NEC Score Phone Card - NEC's lowest discount phone card which usually means it is the highest quality and cleanest phone card.  Good for Mexico, Africa, Middle East and Central America. 

9278 Phone Cards Get Shut Down -

12/1/2004 - When several of their international prepaid phone cards stopped working last month, 9278 sales representatives ran around and collected the non-working phone cards, gave full credit, and exchanged them for newly issued international calling cards.

The new 9278 products are African Arabia prepaid international phone card, La Buena international prepaid phone card for Latin America, Dream phone card, Afrabia international phone card for Africa and the Middle East, Hello Jamaica which is also available in $3 denominations, Speed Ohio phone card, and Pizza phone card.

Other recent big sellers issued by 9278 are the Go phone card and the Today phone card.

Keeps Cost of Entry Low
With the barriers to entry so low, it is now easy for established card issuers to produce more than 100 different cards every year, and even small companies can print a calling card in a run as small as 5000 cards to test the market.  For example, we can print 5000 beautiful 3 38" x 7 1/8" phone cards for 6.9 cents per card, with a first time setup of $122 per image assuming "camera ready" art. Shipping costs about $32, and we charge a job coordination fee of $50 which covers all the jobs on the order.  That puts the total cost of 5000 phone cards at just $549.00 including shipping! We do everything for our clients so they can concentrate on the parts of their business that make money.  If you just want to add a "Phone Card Store Front" we can do that for you for just $599.  This store front is fully operational, allowing you to sell any phone card you like, at any discount you like.

We can manage all of the money for you, or we install your own payment gateway and direct payments to your merchant account.  Authorize.net charges a one time fee of $149..  Monthly charges include $20 monthly for authorize.net payment gateway, $20 monthly for hosting, and $20 monthly for the Store Front License.  In addition, your merchant services company (your bank) will charge you directly a transaction fee on every sale, and may also have some monthly fee.  In other words, expect a cost of about than $100 per month.  You can save a little by piggy backing on our merchant account, but then you loose control of you money.  Contact Bob for more information.
